45, South Bar, Banbury, how much?: Many thanks to those people who took an interest in this property which has now been sold, subject only to Completion (Contracts have been exchanged). Completion takes place on 29th February 2008. Local agents took more than a passing interest in the sale of this property. Three different parties had formal valuations carried out under RICS "Red Book" guidance and I was both surprised and intrigued to see that they varied by over £160,000!...or was I misled ? Non-Domestic Rates: Rate in £, financial year 2008 - 2009 : The Government propose to increase the rate in the pound from 44.4p to 46.2p from 1st April. The small-Business rate will be in line with the Sept RPI figure of 3.9% and will therefore rise to 45.8p. Hopefully this information will help some people budget accuratly for next year. Moreton Pinkney land: We were instructed in mid-December to sell our clients' site, which has recently benefitted from the granting of planning consent for seven domestic properties (5 terrace and 2 semi-detached). We generated a lot of interset in this site, and it went 'Under Offer' three days before Christmas. Contracts are due to be exchanged by 1st February. The asking price was £750,000.

The property has been let on a 6 year lease.
