Title Deeds. Are you really sure you know where your title deeds are? Unfortunately in the last three months I have come across two incidents where clients have struggled to find title deeds and have needed to apply to the Land Registry to confirm their ownership. This is a slow, painful, and laborious process, and is not the thing you wish to do when you are trying to sell a property. I would encourage anyone to check the location of their title deeds. These will usually be in the bank, with your solicitors, or possibly in the attic!  If your property is not Registered consider undertaking a 'First Registration'. This can be done at any time; you do not need to wait until you sell. Your solicitor will advise you.  

Office required - Banbury Town Centre. I have instructions to acquire either freehold or leasehold a professional office, in a good location. We require between 2,500 and 4,000 sq ft of space. A reception area at least on the ground floor would be beneficial.

Footnote: Diary entry Wednesday 30th May ...Just to prove OUTLOOK works!  This morning I started the day by visiting a site I manage in Moreton-in-Marsh, then on to a meeting near Shipston to discuss the possible acquisition of a site for a client (a requirement featured in the March edition of OUTLOOK). Then on to Rugby, a visit to the planning department was followed by an inspection of a property which hopefully I will acquire on behalf of a long standing client seeking a showroom on one of the towns industrial estates (a request I have made I think on three occassions in recent OUTLOOK's !), then back to Deddington to a meeting with a new client to take instructions to rent out and manage some small rural workshops.   Before going to bed I complete this copy of  OUTLOOK, and I help(?) Lucy update the Web-site...life is never dull!
